Derek and I (well, more so just me!) have decided to start our own blog to keep you all updated on the crazy but amazingly wonderful thing we call life!
As you all know, we were married on August 8, 2009 here in Newton, Kansas. What a fun ride it has been! We kicked off our marriage with a week long adventure in Key West. We CAN'T wait to go back and experience some fun in the sun once again!

I (Michelle) have been working at Newton Medical Center as a Registered Nurse on the Geriatric Psych floor. Yep. I said it. Geriatric Psych. :-) I take care of patients who are 55 and older who have behavioral health needs. I just started my first semester at Wichita State University. So far I love the feel the university and am taking some awesome classes! Derek is still at Agco in Hesston, amidst all of the shut-downs and lay offs! We hope for the best and that the company will make a positive turn around! Derek has also created a "gym" in one of the bedrooms upstairs. You can usually find him pumping some iron when he's not in the kitchen cooking up a storm!
